DTS strengthens its leadership from within: Dr.-Ing. Dominic Tiedemann has been made an Associate Partner effective May 1, 2025.
With his broad engineering and technological background, Dominic Tiedemann combines profound scientific expertise with a practical understanding of innovation.
After studying Aerospace Engineering at the University of the Bundeswehr Munich (UniBwM), he completed his doctoral degree at the Institute of Materials Science there, and subsequently worked as a postdoctoral researcher and laboratory head at the Chair of Flight Mechanics and Flight Control at the Institute of Aeronautical Engineering of the UniBwM. His profile is further complemented by several additional qualifications in quality management.
Since moving into intellectual property law in 2018, he has been assisting companies across a wide range of industries with the strategic development and protection of their innovations. He has been with DTS since 2020, where he advises companies especially on managing their IP portfolios, as well as startups on developing and implementing lasting intellectual property strategies.
In addition, Dominic Tiedemann assumes additional responsibilities at DTS in key future-oriented areas of the firm, such as cyber security and the use of artificial intelligence.
