Volker is a German and European Patent Attorney and European Patent Litigator before the UPC. He has been working in the field of patent law since 2014.

After his studies of physics at Erlangen University with a major in „Physics in Medicine“, he completed his doctoral studies at the University of Copenhagen. He subsequently qualified as a patent attorney.

Volker has experience in scientific research in the field of biophysics as well as in biomedical techniques such as fluorescence microscopy, biochemical assays, image processing, and statistical analysis.
