Attorney-at-law (DE) Moritz-Melchior Bloser joins DTS as Associate Partner in Munich as of July 1, 2023. With this hire, DTS further strengthens its team of attorneys and the firm’s patent litigation practice around partner Robert Schnekenbühl.
Moritz-Melchior Bloser has been advising national and international clients on all patent law matters for more than 10 years, specializing in particular in complex patent litigation before all ordinary courts.
After his admission to the bar in 2012, he started working as an attorney in the patent litigation practice of an international law firm and from 2017 in the Munich office of a large patent law firm, most recently as counsel.
His main focus advising in patent law is on the fields of medical technology, mechanical engineering, telecommunications and electronics. This also includes advising clients on cross-border patent litigation. In the fields of telecommunications and mobile communications, he has extensive experience with standard-essential patents and related antitrust and unfair competition issues (FRAND). In addition to his focus on patent infringement matters, including freedom-to-operate and infringement opinions, Moritz-Melchior Bloser also advises on contractual matters, such as licensing agreements.
